Sunrise over sand dunes at the edge of the Gobi Desert near Dunhuang, Gansu Province, China. I got up at about 4am and rode a long-haired camel into the desert with my guide to capture this spectacular sunrise--it's very cold in the mornings, so be sure to bring lots of warm layers!
