The Medina in Old Fes, or Fes el Bali, is a bucket list experience. Enough beautiful, noisy, smelly, tasty anachronisms to give you whiplash. Abandon your need for control and get lost (its easy) as you wander through the modern 12th century. Just watch out for donkeys and their associated "exhaust".
