Photographed from Teton Pass, the full moon rises over Jackson Hole. Within one hundred miles of Jackson, world class skiing, mountain climbing, white water rafting, fly fishing, backpacking and sightseeing in two national parks--Yellowstone and Teton--draw year round visitors to the area.
I shot this image while working with the National Outdoor Leadership School at their Teton Valley campus near Driggs, Idaho which is just across the mountain range from Jackson. It is among a westward odyssey portfolio posted on this AFAR collaborative.
