Fried Chicken. From little wings on the street to the proliferation of KFCs, it's clear fried chicken plays an important role in the Bangkok diet. But there's nowhere like this (or so they tell me.) What could possibly make good fried chicken better? Soi Polo serves theirs covered in fried garlic. With sticky rice, spicy sauces and a cold Chang beer on the side, the meal is pretty close to perfect. Although I only got the chicken, other diners were enjoying lots of other dishes and seemed to be enjoying them thoroughly.

The restaurant is very near Lumphini Park, so it's a great place to eat after walking around the lake and working up an appetite on the outdoor exercise equipment.
