fast food in Germany
When I first visited Berlin I was wary of all the fast food restaurants. I don't mean American chains of course, those I knew I would be avoiding, but rather the many streets lined by small storefront-like-restaurants selling all kinds of wurst, stir-fried noodles and Döner Kebabs. But, I heard the Döners were great so I had to try one and I'm glad I did. If you like gyros, you will love these, and they make for a very cheap, somewhat balanced meal.
I'm not much of a meat eater, but when I came back to Germany, this time Freiburg, I knew my trip would not be complete without eating at least one Döner Kebab... admittedly, I am still wary of the fast food noodles.

It is affordable, but in Dusseldorf you can find many Turkish restaurant selling kebab and other foods which are worth trying! and one more think, a certain fried chicken fast food chain is pretty rare here in Germany, not all places have that. Kinda missing that too sometimes but too far to reach :(
