I like exploring the abandoned houses and villages that litter central Cyprus. This is in the now 'dead' portion of Potamia, which is one of three remaining bi-communal towns in the country (i.e. one where both Greek- and Turkish-Cypriots live). That sounds depressing, but really all the residents have just moved a mile or so away from the original village plot. You can explore old farm houses, or the mansion that once served as the Queen of Cyprus's holiday home during Venetian rule.
