Fallen Log
My husband and I enjoyed a pleasant hike among the sequoias and pines at Mariposa Grove in the southern portion of Yosemite. Head out early to avoid the crowds who hit this popular spot to see the 2,700-year-old Grizzly Giant sequoia in the Lower Grove. During the off-seasons, The Upper Grove and Outer Loop trails provide more solitude and the opportunity to walk across fallen trees and immerse yourself in nature. Grab water and snacks at the mini grocery near the Wawona Hotel to enjoy while taking a break on a log during your hike.

I've been to Mariposa Grove once, but I didn't know about the other trails, thanks for the tip! For the Lower Grove, it's worth noting that the hike is pretty easy and toddler/kid-friendly, since the path is paved.
