Sure you can shell out big bucks to ride the London eye to get a great view of the city. But for a little legwork you'll find views just as stunning from the top of Primrose Hill. Take the tube to the Chalk Farm station then head west up Adelaide road. I recommend a morning stroll through the charming neighborhood, stop for coffee and a pastry to go, on your way to the park. Winds can be bracing at the top of the hill, so bundle up. Besides the view you'll find fresh air and lots of cute puppies!
