Although I admit I did not taste them they certainly looked CRUNCHY - LOL. These lovely ladies were offering some snacks for those visiting Kuthodaw Pagoda a temple surrounded by hundreds of stupas in Mandalay, Burma. Perhaps those less faint of heart would have tried them but I used the age old admonishment of cook it, peel it, wash it or forget it. However, it still made a great photo!
