We took a transatlantic cruise from Santos, Brazil to Lisbon, Portugal. We had never been on a cruise before - and we don't speak Portuguese - so everything about the experience was a first. We ported maybe 5 times in 2 weeks.
When we stopped off in Cadiz, it was early in the morning; the city was still asleep. So, we just quietly wandered around, made touristy comments, and took photos as the sun rose and cast light into every corner of this damp, sleepy, quiet city until we found an open coffee shop that would humor us with churros and hot chocolate.
