Don't expect to find real gold nuggets studding the walls, but you'll find just about everything else. The Wausau Mine Company is a quirky place to dine if you're looking for good, classic American fare (think burgers, seafood and some killer Italian fries which are a house specialty). The Wage family has ensured you'll have all the standard mining works, including artifacts and even a dark, mysteriously but hardly gloomy interior. The edgy exterior alone is worthy of a photograph.
