This proud fighting chicken owner was taking his rooster for a walk at the Mailana market in the central highlands of Timor-Leste. The rooster no doubt benefitted from the food refuse littering the ground. While cock fighting is an ugly sport, it is very popular in highlands Timor-Leste and several attractive roosters were being similarly paraded.
