This church was built on the area that is widely accepted as being where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount. This area has a gorgeous view and beautiful landscaped grounds were you can see the beatitudes engraved in stones.

This site is located near the Sea of Galilee and is worth a visit if you're near Tabgha and visiting other relevant biblical sites like the Church of the Multiplication, where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes.
