Hi! We are going to Turkey in a about a month and plan to stay in Cappadocia for 2-3 days. Do you recall which cave hotel you stayed in?

I would recommend Esbelli Evi Cave hotel in Ürgüp, Cappadocia. Ürgüp is the next town over from Goreme. We liked it better as it was less touristy, but just amazing. This hotel was amazing with a variety of cave rooms to choose from.

We just returned from Goreme and loved The Kelebek Hotel -- reasonable and amazing buffet breakfast once we emerged from our charming and cosy cave.

I second the Kelebek Hotel. Also, don't miss Ziggy's restaurant in nearby Urgup, and the Setain restaurant in Goreme.
