While riding out to the pyramids this character posed perfect for a shot with a pyramid under his chin. His branding was extensive as he has had many owners.

How interesting! Is each stripe of branding from a different owner? Is it only on the neck?
Each marking in it's entirety is from various owners. Dromedary camels can live up to 40 years and may pass through many owners. This guy working as a tourist Camel among many others, has to stand out to it's owner, hence all owners will brand a camel with their particular brand to ensure identification and ownership. The branding to me looks like three distinct rings of x's. It is only on the neck, head and in this case the lips. I have another shot of him from the front I will post.
