I love the peace and quiet of the desert, especially Valle de la Muerte. I would rent a bicycle and ride 4 or 5km to Valle de la Muerte in the morning. I'd have the place to myself, to climb sand dunes, hike, eat Dona Martita's delicious tamales, or just sit and listen to the silence.
