The Bayerisches Nationalmuseum is a little bit off the beaten tourist path, appearing to attract mainly Germans. It is big, beautiful building with many floors and wings. Bayerisches tell the story of Germany with objects, sculpture, and more tracing its history and culture. The armour exhibition and the medieval-age rooms are totally transportive.
