Battambang, Cambodia isn't famous for much really - but what it lacks in sights, it makes up for in beautiful rural countryside and hospitable, kind people. Exploring the area on the back of a tuk tuk proved to be quite an experience as well - from barreling through rice fields on the world's only bamboo train, exploring landscapes thick with fruit bats and monkeys, learning about rice farming, and dining on regional specialties (including crunchy fried bats...). Yum!
