Ghirardelli Chocolate shops are famous for a reason! Try saying you don't like ice cream when there is melted peanut butter sauce dripping down your cheek.
While the original Ghirardelli shop is in San Francisco, CA; the location in the old Gaslamp District of San Diego is nothing to complain about.Its right next to an old movie theatre and plenty of hip shops/restaurants. Definitely worth a visit-and don't forget a souvenir bar of peppermint bark or a charming can of white chocolate mocha mix!
