April in Paris
As cliché as it sounds, there is nothing like springtime in Paris. A detour to Notre Dame's side garden is a great way to evade the crowds out front and enjoy a more scenic view of the cathedral's flying buttresses and gothic architecture. Further back one can find Pont de l'Archevêché – a bridge full of locks left behind by lovers.

After touring this historic cathedral for more than an hour, we exited the building and turned left at the street and crossed over the bridge to the Left Bank. Our next two sites & sights were the great, historic bookstore Shakespeare & Company (37 Rue de la Bucherie) and food/drink at Le Petit Chatelet (39 Rue de la Bucherie). As you may notice by their addresses, they are next door to each other. After you cross the bridge, turn left immediately - the restaurant is on the corner and the bookstore is next door. Enjoy the three places.
Awesome tip!
