Indoor/outdoor cozy seating keeps a fresh air flow while staying warm with heaters. Ambience colorful with lights and a lively bar service. 2 sommelier keep wines easy and superbly matched. The Windy Oaks Estate 2010 Pinot Noir local from the Santa Cruz Mountains was light and full of flavor. Every detail to the food and service was great. Lively enough, you could bring kids and not disturb, but very romantic. The charcuterie was a superb selection, we were unable to pick a favorite. Pickled fennel and house ground mustard accompanied. The pear salad was light and subtle in flavor but very nice. Could have used a sprinkle of sea salt. The apple pastry and creme brûlée were wonderful. The cappuccino was rich and delicious down to the almond biscotti. The Italian sparking water chosen as house water was a tasty addition. One of my favorite restaurants and meals. Also see their sister restaurant, Bicyclette for pizza, cheeses and cured meats.
