The Templar Hotel took what seems like FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRR to open. This long awaited 27 room temple to designer minimalism (kinda a Japanese vibe?) is Toronto's 1st (and so far only) member of the super cool Design Hotel Group.

The location is a little odd (in the Entertainment District - crazy on weekends) yet close enough to all of the cities attractions that any design geek would be remiss not to book here. Just don't expect warm and fuzzy, it's not that kind of place.

P.S. there was supposedly a Porshe available fior guest transpo, however authorities have it that it's MIA at the moment.
