Today Mehrangarh Fort was awash in vibrant silk. Indian tourists from the nearby state of Gujarat, taking advantage of the Diwali and winter holidays, have come in droves to see the sights of Jodhpur and they're dressed to impress. The sea of jewel tone saris and glittering gold bangles brought the already resplendent 500 year old fort to life (and I didn't feel guilty sneaking photos of the other visitors because they didn't hesitate at all to take pictures of me).
