Our favorite daytrip of all from Perth was to the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse, where the Indian and Southern Ocean meet. It is at the most southwestern point of mainland Australia. Insiders tip: be sure to take the tour of the lighthouse for all the history and cool facts. For example, the man in the gift shop shared, "See that rock in the ocean over there? If you dug a hole to the other side of the earth from there, you would end up in Washington DC."
