Seeing the inaugural Formula 1 race at the brand new Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas was truly an epic experience. It's been five years since F1 came to the U.S. (Indianapolis), and the people at COTA built a fantastic track with modern facilities. We sat opposite the pit and enjoyed the view of mechanics working on cars and drivers coming through the pit lane for maintenance. As the F1 cars flew by the sensations were overwhelming: engines loud enough to make your internal organs vibrate and the smell of rubber and fuel. I can't wait to go back next year!
